Robert “Bobby” Junior Sowers died suddenly and unexpectedly on September 19, 2018 as the result of a vehicular accident on Jersey Mountain Road.  He was 53 years of age.

Bobby was born in Keyser and raised in Romney where he attended Romney Junior High.  He lived a simple life and worked at various jobs in and around Romney.  Many will remember Bobby  walking the streets of Romney and Hampshire County.   Bobby had a kind heart and would do most anything for anybody.  And if someone would pick him up and bring him home he was happy to do whatever job was waiting.  He never missed a day of visiting his father at the nursing home and anyone who knew him knows he had a friendly disposition.   Bobby had a talent for noticing details and enjoyed cooking, jigsaw puzzles and his daily walks.
