2 condolences for “Reana Fay Wayne”

  1. I remember this wonderful lady well, initially from the years of letter writing to my mother ,to keep in touch with the family gosip downunder plus the many Xmas boxes she would post over to Australia for many years.
I often wondered who this Santa Claus was from the other side of the world and made my first trip 40 years ago, and felt like I was home .
Fay was a happy, loving caring lady, with a big cheeky grin ,and smart alec comments, ( typical australian trait) which she didnt seem to have lost over the years of living in the USA.
She always welcomed us with open loving arms.
I loved her to the core and will miss her dearly .
I’m glad I returned in recent years, as the family ties will continue from the beautiful legacy Fay and Albert created.
I believe Fay will be happier now, finally back into the arms of the man she loved.
To Mike,Gordon and family. My thoughts and heart are with you all.
    Love always xx

  2. I worked for Fay Wayne and Albert as their housekeeper for 24 years and they were like grandparents to me. They always treated me like family instead of hired help, and always said I was the daughter they never had. We had a lot of good times together. I will truly miss Fay, as I do Albert. My condolences go out to the family!
