John Junior Seeders

June 28, 1938 - October 23, 2019

John Junior Seeders, 81, of Moorefield, WV passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Born June 28, 1938 in Green Spring, WV, he was the son of the late John W. and Winifred I. (Huffman) Seeders.  John is also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas E. Seeders.

John is survived by his companion of 24 years, Mary L. Hose; his daughter, Anita L. McGee and husband William of Bunker Hill, WV; his sister, Christine Myers of Martinsburg, WV; his granddaughter, Mikayla N. Schlotthober of Bunker Hill, WV; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was a veteran of the US Army and owned and operated Seeders Home Improvements.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his rendezvous at Fort Seybert with the “Buck Skinners”.  He was a muzzle loader and black powder enthusiast, making his own rifles and knives.  John loved to hunt and trout fish and was very handy when it came to the “know how” of things.  He enjoyed anything outdoors and loved his cats and smoking his pipe.

John had an outgoing personality and was very family oriented.  He loved his granddaughter and was very proud of her.  He was warm and caring and always had a good story to tell.  John will be sadly missed.

Graveside services for John will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Forest Glen Cemetery in Green Spring, WV.  All are welcome to attend.
